Lodging: $125 per person, Age 4-12 are half price Our 1880’s style cabins provide you with a peaceful place to relax. However, if you’re looking for something more, the lodge is always open to you. Watch a little TV or play a game of pool. Enjoy an open bar in the evening. We also have a pool which is located directly across from the lodge where you can sit and watch the animals romp around in the adjacent exotic game park. Price includes 3 meals at our Chuckwagon restaurant and the open bar. Meeting Room: $200 per day Our meeting room is located next to the Chuckwagon and provides wireless internet and a pull-down screen. Exotic Game Tours The YO Ranch offers a variety of tours to suit your needs: Regular Daily Tour: This 1 ½ - 2 hour tour takes you into our exotic game parks where you can view and photograph over 50 species of exotic game from around the world. Our giraffes are always looking for a treat. Your guide will also talk to you about the history of the ranch which was established in 1880. Cost is $32.95 per person or $17.95 for our overnight guests. Private Daily Tour: This is similar to our regular daily tour, but without the crowd. You will have your own personal guide to lead you on this exciting journey. Cost is $65 per person. Private 5-Hour Tour: On this tour, not only will you hear about the history of the ranch, but you will have the opportunity to visit some of the historic areas. This tour also allows more time for game viewing. Cost is $250 per person. All tours include lunch. Horseback Riding: $34.95 per person. Addt’l hours are $30.00 Enjoy the beautiful hill country on horseback. Riders must be at least 7 years of age and no more than 230 lbs. in weight. Don’t forget your long pants and closed-toed shoes. Overnight Trail Ride: $360 per person Have you ever wondered what it felt like to be a working cowboy, riding horses all day and sleeping under a blanket of stars? Well, wonder no more. Y.O. Adventure Camp now offers overnight horseback rides. Meet your wranglers at 8:00 am for breakfast at the Y.O. Chuckwagon and discuss details of the trip. Next, you will head to the round pen where you will be introduced to your horse and be given a demonstration on how to communicate and control your horse. Once you have showed the proper riding skills to the wrangler’s satisfaction, you will embark out on the 40,000 acre Y.O. Ranch for an unforgettable trail ride. While riding, your wrangler will fill you in on the history of the Y.O. and how we are still a working ranch in today’s fast-paced society. Take a rest under the shade of an oak tree for lunch on the trail before finishing your day of riding. Once you reach camp, rest by the fire while one of our friendly staff cooks a real cowboy meal in dutch ovens. Top the day off with a look to the sky, as you nestle down in your sleeping bag for a nights rest under the stars. Wake up early to coffee and breakfast before heading back to the main headquarters. All overnight rides are scheduled for one and a half days. Cost includes all meals, water and soft drinks and support on the trail. Alcohol can be added for an additional charge. A ride can be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the wranglers. Sunrise Trail Ride: $89.95 per person Enjoy a beautiful sunrise at the famous Y.O. Ranch cowboy style. Rise early in the morning to dew on the ground and animals stirring. Meet our wranglers and your horses to venture out on an unforgettable horseback ride immersing yourself in the middle of the peacefulness of nature. This two-hour ride will start between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m., depending on the season. Upon completing your ride, you and your wranglers will meet at the Y.O. Chuckwagon for a home cooked breakfast. Terms & Conditions Sunrise rides must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. A phone number and credit card are required at the time of booking. Included in the ride is a round pen demonstration where all participants must be able to show they can control their horse. A ride can be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the wranglers. Addition time can be added at $30 per hour. Sunset Trail Ride: $105.95 per person A day at the historic Y.O. Ranch is far from typical and full of activity and excitement. What better way to unwind by taking a leisurely horseback ride at sunset. Begin with a delicious country-style dinner at the Y.O. Chuckwagon with our friendly staff. Next, meet your wranglers for a round pen riding instruction before you embark on your sunset horseback ride. Breathtaking and relaxing, our wranglers will guide you through the ranch where you can enjoy the many sounds of nature. Terms & Conditions Sunset rides must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. A phone number and credit card are required at the time of booking. All sunset rides are scheduled for two hours. A ride can be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the wranglers. Cattle Drive Enhance your trail ride by adding our famous longhorns. Experience what cowboys went through when driving cattle up the Great Western Trail in the 1800’s. Our wranglers will be with you; however, it will be your job to make sure the cattle arrive safely. Cost is determined by number of cattle and additional wranglers needed. Paint Branding: $25 per person This event will force participants to work together and strategize. Participants are separated into teams of five. One person is the anchor, three people are the tacklers and one person is the brander. A calf is released into the arena. The tacklers must tackle the calf to the ground. The brander then places the Y.O. brand to the calf’s side. This is a timed event and the quickest team wins. This event is as much fun to watch as it is to participate in. Hide Relay: $25 per person This fast-action relay race will encourage participants to think fast. Participants are drug, one by one, while sitting on a hide behind a horse. The fastest time from one end of the arena to the other and back, wins. Get ready to get dirty! High Ropes Course: $50 per person Challenge by choice. Each participant will be challenged to reach a personal goal on a variety of high rope elements. Many elements require teamwork and group motivation to complete the course. Call for availability. Bull Riding Events Come join us for the fun and excitement of watching the young, up-and-coming superstars in professional bull riding. Not only will you see the cowboys chasing their dreams, but you will personally meet them during your own private bull riding exhibition.
