Next morning when he "ran" his lines he caught this 60 pound catfish.  November, 1926.

Terra Firma Cabin -Terra Firma is a nice, tranquil place to relax. It is a single cabin located on 25 acres with about 900 feet of the Llano River. This stretch of river includes a nice deep pool area, some great rapids and even an oxbow lake, which has been very fruitful in the fishing department. River traffic is rare. It is a great place to swim, fish, tube, canoe/kayak, hike, bird watch, arrowhead hunt, view wildlife, star gaze, or just plan ole relax.

The cabin itself sleeps 6 and is a short hike to a very beautiful stretch of the Llano River. It is a two room cabin with an open porch and great views of the Western Hill Country of Texas. It is located off of RR 385 in Kimble County, and is about 15 minutes from Junction, 30 minutes from Mason, and about 50 minutes from Fredericksburg.
