Kimble County has hundreds of natural springs. These springs feed the North Llano and South Llano Rivers which come together to form the Llano River. Here the water runs cool and clear making Kimble County the "Land of the Living Waters".
 

Kimble County Meals on Wheels is having a Fish Fry Dinner on February 12, 2012 at the center.  The cost of the meal will be $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for children.  The meal includes drink and dessert. The center will start serving at 11:00 A.M. to 2:00P.M.  Also curb side take out will be available. Seating will be limited so call for reservation early if planning to eat at center.  Call 325/446-3621 for more information

Boy Scout Bake Sale This Saturday Feb. 4, 2012 Boy Scout Troop 420 is holding a bake sale THIS Saturday, Feb. 4 at Lowe's Food Store, starting at 10:00 a.m. They will be selling baked items as well as chili-dogs. The boys are trying to raise funds for summer camp this year. The troop has grown recently with more boys participating, and all are hoping to attend Camp Wehinahpay in New Mexico. Donations will be used to pay for camp and travelling costs. Any donation is gratefully accepted and appreciated!

Junction Rotary Club is selling Ads for High School Sports posters again this year. We will publish a schedule for Baseball/Softball, Football, & Basketball. Advertising money stays in Junction  & is distributed among several community projects & other community service projects. Pricing : 2x2 ad=$65. 2x4 ad=$125. 4x4 ad=$200.
