April 2, 2011 - “Kimble County Wise Living Event” on Saturday, April 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Junction City Park. The Wise Living Event is an environmental festival that is free and educational to all; featuring activities for children and exhibitors promoting land, air and water stewardship. It’s a dedicated day for the community to get outside and enjoy fresh air and fun at the City Park. Activities for children include games, aquatic science, rock painting, sun catchers, seed planting, and face painting. Volunteers are needed for the Texas Trash Off from 8 am – 10 am AND to help run the event. Please call Kaycie Sullivan at 325-446-6333 for volunteer information.
