Outdoor Women GONE WILD in Kimble County - Third Saturday every April,(April 17, 2010) South Llano River State Park, US Hwy 377 S, Junction, Texas - Enjoy a day of outdoor fun activities, just for women, like skeet shooting, archery, team wagon driving, dousing, bird watching, didjeridoo-ing, bird house making, orienteering, kayaking, fun with Lavender & more. Both active and sedentary classes offered. Kimble Kounty Kow Kick - Held Annually on Labor Day (Monday) at Junction City Park, downtown Junction, from 10 AM to 4 PM.  Enjoy food, rides, arts & crafts vendors, Little Miss & Little Mr. Kimble County Contest for 4 yr. olds, and a Fiddler's Contest brought by United Fiddlers Association.  Admission is free.  (Contact is Chamber and our website) 1/325-446-3190

Jennifer Raley Memorial Golf Scramble, Junction Golf Club.  This is held annually, usually the second weekend in September at the Junction Golf Club, FM2169, Junction, Texas.  3/person teams, 18 holes, 18 team limit  Limited Cart Rentals  Meal included for players, fee for guests  All proceeds benefit the Jennifer Raley Memorial Scholarship Fund Call 210/913-4664 or 325/446-2969  Note: This is an annual event in September, with the exact date determined in the summer.  They do not play if it is raining.)  (Check our website close to month for exact date information)
