EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S POSITION FOR NON-PROFIT AGENCY

Closing Date: June 16, 2008

Salary Range 40,000 – 48,000 annually

Duties: Directs, coordinates, and implements all aspects of the corporate program, including both administrative and program directions. Reports to and is responsible to the board of directors for the corporate operation; keeps the board apprised of program, personnel, budget plans, and priorities; recommends new policy and procedures or changes as needed. Serves as the primary spokesperson for the corporation before public groups, special interest groups, the press, etc. for the purpose of explaining and promoting the corporation. Coordinates corporate activities with those of a pertinent Federal, State, and local agencies/organizations community anti-poverty strategies. Other duties as tasked by the board of directors.

Standards: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (two years of experience will count toward one year of education). The candidate should have three or more years of management and leadership experience in a corporate setting(preferably in non-profit); experience managing a budget of $1,000,000.00 or more; have excellent communications skills; be knowledgeable of state, federal, and local resources.

Ombudsman Needed The Area Agency on Aging of the Concho Valley Council of Governments is accepting applications for a volunteer position to perform duties as an ombudsman for the Junction and Bronte area nursing homes.

Production Foreman

An aggressive publicly held small independent oil and gas company is seeking a Production Foreman for the Ozona office with at least 8 yrs exp. Foreman will supervise lease operator crew; manage operations on 150+ wells; supervise installation of production equipment in assigned area; and oversee any gang or roustabout work that takes place. Also manages vendors and consultants when working. Compensation commensurate with experience; benefits are excellent including stock participation. Assistant Water Treatment Plant Operator

As the Assistant Operator, the person must be capable of supporting the City’s Water Treatment Plant Operator in all aspects of the operations of the City’s water treatment plant.  The person must be able to operate the plant during the absence of the Operator.  (The current plant is a rapid sand filtration plant capable of producing two million gallons of treated water daily.  After a new membrane filtration plant becomes operational during December 2008-January 2009, the sand filtration plant will be operated on a back up basis.)

The person will also perform other duties as may be specified, including working on the City’s water distribution and wastewater systems on an as needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications:  A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with additional education being desirable.  Person must also possess or be capable of obtaining in a timely manner Grade C Water and Grade C Wastewater licenses 

Starting Salary:  Up to $30,000 annually depending upon experience, qualifications and education.  Excellent employee benefits are provided.
